How to set Core FTP to connect to your hosting account
Core FTP is an FTP (FTPS, SFTP) client which allows you to connect to your hosting account through FTP. It runs on Windows and has a free version and a paid one with more features: Core FTP LE and Core FTP Pro, respectively. They are both set to connect to your account in the same way.
First you have to download Core FTP and install it on your computer. Then you need to make sure that you have created an FTP user from the FTP Usernames section of the Pixie control panel.
Start Core FTP, go to Sites>Site Manager, or just click on one of the Site Manager buttons, there type your domain name (e.g. yourdomain.com) and the name and password for the FTP user you want to use. Then click on Connect and that's it. Instead of the Site Manager you can also use the Quick connect (File>Quick connect, or one of the “lightning” buttons).
