How to change the logo in Drupal

In Drupal each theme comes with its default top logo. To change that logo and replace it with your own you need to edit the settings of the particular theme. Log in to the admin panel of your Drupal and click on the Appearance tab. At the top right corner of the page that opens there should be a few sub-tabs. Click on the Settings sub-tab, and on the following page you'll notice some small buttons in the top right corner just under the sub-tab. Each button corresponds to one of the enabled themes. Click on the button of the theme for which you want to change the logo.

On the page that opens scroll down to the section Logo Image Settings and unmark the checkbox labeled Use the default logo. When you do this a couple of fields will appear: Path to custom logo and Upload logo image. If you want to upload an image that's on your local computer, click on the Browse button that's next to the Upload logo image field, locate the image on your computer and click on the Save configuration button at the bottom of the page. The image will be uploaded and the logo will be changed automatically. The image will be saved in the root Drupal folder on your hosting account in sites/default/files.

Alternatively, you can upload the logo image manually using an FTP client or with the File Manager of the Pixie control panel, and then you just need to type the path to the image in the field for Path to custom logo. This is also useful if you want the logo images to be kept in a folder on your account other than the one used by the automatic uploader. If, for example, you have created a folder called images inside the root Drupal directory on your Drupal hosting account, and the name of the logo file is logo.jpg, then you just have to type images/logo.jpg in the field for Path to custom logo.
