How to prevent users from customizing their account's homepage in SugarCRM
By default, in SugarCRM every user can customize the homepage of their account. They can do this by adding, removing and editing dashlets. The panels that appear on the homepage are called dashlets. The changes that a user makes are visible only on the homepage of their account.
If you want to, you can prevent users from being able to change their homepage. To do this, log in as an administrator in SugarCRM and click on the Admin link in the upper right corner to go to the admin panel. Then click on the button System Settings that's in the System section. On the page that opens there's a setting Prevent user customizable Homepage layout. Mark the checkbox for that setting and click on the Save button. Now users (including administrators) won't be able to add and remove dashlets. They will only be allowed to edit the current dashlets that are on their homepage.
